Master Cylinder help

I used postings on this forum to replace my TPS - truck running better now (thank you)

I was also going to change my master cylinder, appears to leak fluid and my brakes drop way to the floor.

I bought an aftermarket master cylinder that Amazon said would fit my F150 (2002 XLT V8). It's a Dorman M39634

First thing is it does not have the ability to hook up my brake sensor switch. I noticed that's true about all of the generics. So I guess that's not important if that is not hooked up

Second (more important), my brake fluid level sensor does not fit into this MC. Is there any way around that? An adapter or something? Doesn't look like I can take the one off my old MC and use that either.

There are 4 different Dorman part numbers for a MC for a 2002 F-150 - dependent on build date and whether or not it has cruise control. None of those 4 match the part number you posted. Send it back and get the right one from rockauto.com.
