F-150 cutting out

Good day,

I was just out in the truck heading to the store, the truck was working fine, i pulled up to the stop sign, went to pull away and the truck started to cut out.

when it does this the rpm drop off but then come back, no engine light is on but it continues to do this the whole way home, the alternator seems to be ok.

it has been cutting out around 70 km/hr lately too but i thought that was just the transmission slipping, i dont think the two are related but i thought i should mention it anyway.

the only thing i can think of is maybe bad gas, but we got gas three days ago and its been fine, next i thought the wires or plugs.

can anyone suggest anything before i start to rip it apart or take it to the dealer and spend a bunch of money for them to "check" it.

i am at a loss, i have never experienced this before.

thank you

Year/engine/past maintenance history?

Imma start and say plugs and cops/wires/coils (depending on year and engine)

Done the fuel filter lately? Do that then check the fuel pressure with a gauge.
