swap? 2000 mustang in a 1997 f150

I found a rebuilt ford crate motor out of a 2000 mustang with 18000 miles on it. What would be involved in swapping it in a 1997 f150 4x4? Would I need to find an intake manifold out of a newer truck with PI heads? Any info would be appreciated.

You would have to swap intakes and some other bolt ons but its not a hard swap. If it is pi you would need a truuck PI intake yes. I dunno if the mustang got the PI heads that soon or not.

It's a Pi motor. I was hoping their wouldn't be sensor compatibility issues.
Thanks

Make sure the Mustang engine has an 8 bolt crank, it should if it's a 2000.

Might have to swap timing covers.
