Help 2000f150

Ok so I bought my grandpas f150 5.4 4x4 an it won't start. He said he was driving n the truck shut off . Now it just clunks so after some reading I learned of all the wire issues but had a friend tell me to take the belt off an try to crack it ...still cluck if tried to turm the balancer by hand won't move but does move slightly with bumping the key. Could my motor be locked up an if so is there any way to fix it wit out removing the motor?

You tried to move it by hand? Or with a wrench...?
Your not going to turn it by hand. Maybe if you pull all of the plugs. Put a wrench on it and turn it over.

With a breaker bar attempt to turn the engine clockwise. If you cant do it start your engine search.

Pulling the plugs is no issue. You do not need to though. Get a breaker bar and rotate the engine.
