Can you replace a 1992 F150 Extended Cab 4x4 302 engine with a 1986 F150 Extended Cab 4x4 302 engine? The 1986 has 'V' Belts and the 1992 has a serpentine belt. My plan is to take everything off the 1992 and put it on the 1986. I don't think there will be a problem with this, if so please let me know. My concern is with the brains (ECU?). Please help?
