Hi all,

I've been having a problem with my truck recently. It is a 2005 F150, 5.4, with about 145000km. About 3 months ago I changed the oil with MC filter and oil. I took the truck for a drive all seemed to be good until I started going through a drive thru. I lightly pressed the gas and let off and truck started to shake and vibrate make a loud noise and almost quit. It didn't give and codes then. I didn't really have the money to throw at the truck so I just kept an eye on things and never had a problem until today. The truck was a operating temp, I was backing out of the drive way when the truck started to act the same as it did a few months ago. This time I got a p0345 code. I have been doing some reading on the forum and people are saying anything from the CPS sensor,to phasers,to the timing chain jumping a tooth. Just not really sure where to start. I am thinking on changing the phasers, chains and guides anyway just as a maintenance thing. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
