I cant get my f 150 with a 5.8 liter to start, and when I do manage to get it to start it will only start for about 5 secends then it will stall. Then for a little while last night I was able to get it running for awhile, let it idle for about 30 minutes, then it stalled, but would start right back up.

This morning I came out and it started right up and I went to take it around the block to see if it would act up and it didnt even make it out of the drive way. Now it wont start at all.

Things I have done: changed the ignition coil, changed the fuel filter, checked and made sure it has spark, air filter is good.

I just recently got this truck back from putting a new block and new heads on it due to over heating. I just dont understand why it wont run now.

Possible ideas: Something with when I turn my is loose my key?? TPS??

I am out of ideas. let me know what your thoughts are.

 

Have you tried pressing the gas pedal just a bit to start it? Your IAC may have crapped out.
