Help ID the sound please!

I am not sure what this sound is but I would like to get it resolved. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I can only hear it at idle. When giving it gas it seems to go away. It is not producing any codes.

here is a link to the sound I am talking about.

Does it do it with the belt off? Just don't let it run very long, since the cooling system won't be working.

Sounds a lot like a AC compressor kicking in and out.

Wow, that sounds like my first computer, - specially toward the end of the vid.

Is is just as noisy with heat defrost AC switched to off?

Found the problem. It was the PCV, replaced it today and it sounds great now.

Ahh crap, I was going to say that.

Glad you found the prob. The only valves with the correct margins are the Motorcraft PCV valves. If your not using one, the problem could return in the near future.

Exhaust manifold leak?

Hi all I'm new to the site and also a new f150 owner. Just bought 2010 xlt screw and noticed a light tick when accelerating not sure if it's just the injectors ? Not real loud like a manifold leak any thoughts ? No sound when idle other than injectors

My V10 does that too. I knew exactly what it was when I watched the vid, but I'm too late to help.
