ANyone Wanting plugs changed in Southaven,MS area

I've been calling around trying to find the best deal on a plug change in the Memphis,Southaven,Olive Branch area, and here is what I've come up with:

Country Ford in Southaven has the best deal I can find. They quoted me $289.95 with a $50.00 additional fee for each broken plug.

Even better, if you bring your own plugs it's right at $200.00 + tax and of course the $50.00 for each broken plug.

Anyone looking for a deal, Advance Auto has a coupon going right now. 20 off 50.00 or 15% off all maintenance items. I picked up a set of SP515's for just under $46.00.

Ouch. Did you try the techron method? Running some through a few tanks before hand... from what I have seen/heard... it greatly reduces the amount of plugs breaking.

I just did it with a couple bottles of seafoam and some techron cleaner... Got them all out.

I think the biggest help was soaking the plug well with carb cleaner.

I remember changing the plugs in My 04 Lightning, and in my 03 Cobra.. Seems like it took about an hour each, including stops for refreshing beverages... What in the hell has the world come too when it takes 5/6 hours to swap some f'n spark plugs.. Then worry about breaking them off in the head?

I also removed a few extra things to help me reach them better I removed my air force 1 intake, throttle body, unplugged the coils and fuel injector harnesses and moved harnesses out of the way. I wanted it less cluttered up so i could move the extraction tool around in there better. All in all it was pretty easy just very stressful pulling the bell out of the head. Just the thought of the extractor not biting on the bell had me worried more than anything. I didn't want to call a wrecker to come pick it up and drop it off at a ford dealer to have the head removed.
