Best HP for the $$$

I have a 2007 F150 extended cab. 3.55 Gears, 5.4L 4WD and am wondering what modifications would be the best bang for the buck. I would like to go supercharged, but cant afford that yet, and would like to build the engine up before doing that also. Right now what would be the best bang for the buck I can get, while being able to keep the stuff I buy when I supercharge? I have dual E fans, gotts mod and an Edge Evo. Right now I am thinking gears and exhaust. What would be the best way to take my nearly stock engine up a little without having to buy the same parts again in the future.

Basically I don't want to buy cams now if I will need different cams in the future. Thanks for the help.

Maybe not the best bang for the 'buck', but gears are the best mod I've done. It was the biggest 'seat of the pants', no kidding, dang that made a difference mod I've done. I would have said e-fans second, but you already have that.

The gears are $1K, but my thoughts on that is I will need to do it eventually anyway, so might as well be soon.

$1K is front and rear gears with both master install kits

I say gears also.

Exhaust (if the right setup) will add 35hp.
For that you would need long-tube headers with high flow cats.

Get outuh here, it's been proven on the Dyno. I wouldn't believe it either, if I didn't see it myself. You just made to the list, - the list of users whom not to listen to.

Actual numbers are 30/35. That's 30 HP 35 TQ over factory and shorties. But, as said, that's if your set up is right. You need to search before spewing your garbage.

Best bang for your buck is a programmer along with custom tunes from a tuner who knows what they're doing...

Also look up gotts/ dwv mod

Troyer Performance
Power Hungry Performance
VMP Tuning
5-Star Tuning

Then look at UDPS, E-FANS, Long tube headers, gears.....

When you say get a tune, are you meaning take it to one of these shops? Or one of these shops sends a tune to you and work at it from there?

While not cheap, the most HP increase per dollar would come from an engine swap if you could do it yourself. Probably not the route you were thinking though.
