i got this service engine soon light the other day while driving and i know what the code means, im just curious to know if its the thermostat or the sensor, the gauge has also been reading lower than normal at normal operation temperature. But i still have heat in side the truck. thanks for all input... steven

 

Thermostat is sluggish, replace it.

 

Yep, t-stat is staying open. Replace it.
