So that's a 4.6L ? Yea, that' s your emission EVAP line from body elbow(plenum) to purge solenoid. Dealership only most likely.

Did you break the stem on the solenoid ? Or just the plastic piece alone @ the hose end. Ones White, Ones Green. I'm not referring to to the green purge cap. - Just what's broke.

Yes the stem is what broke, not the tubing or the tubing connector! would u happen to know the name of the piece of is it what the other guy said on this thread?

I got one extra, but I better hang onto it, they do break easy. If you would have posted last week, I could have got another. If you just needed the plastic part.

Hmm I don't have the green and white caps like u do! If u check out the pic, there's just the green cap and then a straight hose from the part I need to the throttle body!

Yea, I did that before. Sort of, yours is different. You need the solenoid purge valve. They call them both. Your test port is on the other stem that isn't busted , -correct ?

Try this if you want.
1 make sure both pieces are clean.
2 put something inside the hole so you can line them up good.
3 put Baking soda on one piece where they will glue together.
4 put Super Glue on the other piece.
5 shove them together and make sure your alignment dowel (from #2) isn't being glued.
6 put it back together!

I've done this on vacuum switches and other plastic parts and it is pretty strong. The key is the baking soda, it works like a catalyst on the glue. I even fixed the handle on a 1/2 inch drill before.

Just be careful not to glue your fingers down!

OR go buy a new one.

See how that purge valve just slides off the metal hanger ? Yea, just push that plastic lock in and it should slide right off,- for easy replacement.
