Hello I was wondering if you was still doing the Cam phasers for 500.00 and what part of NC are you located?

 

My total bill was $2,475.31 (with my discount) for the whole works to be done last July.

 

Are you still doing Cam Phaser. I live in Spartanburg SC. I have a 04 Navigator. It rattles when you start it up after it has been setting

 

Fram oil filter? Get rid of it.

 

 

I have a 2005 F150 5.4 3v. Truck has 103k on it, everything is in excellent condition other than timing issues. When I bought the truck back in 09 with 42k .I had to force dealer to replace phasers after owning truck for one week. Everything was great after that. Than last year had phaser issues again replaced the phasers, oil pump, oil pan front and rear seals ran ok. Than two weeks ago started to get the tapping than diesel sound threw a code cam position sensors, replaced both problem was still there. Replaced Both VCT's and the truck ran like a champ for two days. After replacing pulley's and tensioner the truck would hardly run threw a p0012, p0172 &p0174 code. had a friend with a scope captured the stats when code was thrown. And yep Cam phasers are bad. Again.

 

Hello - I have a 2005 Linc Navigator. Are you still doing Cam Phaser Installs ? What part of NC are you located.

They're charging me 4000 to fix the phaser on a 2010 ford flex

 

Different vehicle and engine.

 

I had a camphaser explode and throw the timing chain and destroy the valve cover and camshaft also some of the roller rockers were damaged also

 

So how do i know if i need to have a Ford rep look at mine. It rattles like a diesel at first start.
