Best Spark Plug and Coil Combination

I have a 2006 Ford F-150 w/the 5.4L Flex Fuel engine. I want to replace the plugs and possibly the factory coils with an upgrade. I understand that the 5.4L is picky about the type of plug. I was looking at the E3 plug, Bosch Platinum 4, NGK Iradium to name a few.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!
Jim

Stock Motorcraft plugs and keep the original coils unless they are bad (which seldom happens). If they do go bad, replace them with OEM quality DG511's from Global or Uneek on Ebay. You have a 3V engine, and the only plugs made for it are Motorcraft, Autolite, Champion, and Brisk.

Essentially, there is no upgrade possible or needed.

I run autolite... I see nothing wrong with motorcraft though.

The jury is still out on the longevity of the Autolites. Those are 2 piece like the Motorcrafts. The Champions and Brisk are one piece, the jury is still out on the Champs and the Brisk is a non-platinum racing plug with a cold heat range, they last about 20 to 25k.
