yup you've got a 2 valve, unless you've done a swap (and there's only one we know of so far)

I've test driven a couple new 3v's and was not all that impressed. The werent broken in and all but my old truck would beat them and its not like my truck is super modded or anything.. Pretty much stock. Gryphen tuner K&n drop in that about it.

Yep I've beaten a few, unless they have a tuner. A tuner like night and day for those engines.

Cool

HI!... Ya I'm not a 5.4 3-valve fan either. Pick on them all the time with the "DANGER" Ranger... lol!

I test drove several 05's and 06's after I sold my 2000 5.4 and I thought my 2000 was stronger than the 3Vs.

Starting in 04 they do weigh about 500 lbs more due to the stronger frame.

Now I have an 02 5.4 and the Superchips really woke it up!

Lets put say a 8000LB., trailer behind both your truck & my 5.4 3v....& hook them up from the line....you will soon realize the 3v's torque supremacy over your truck real quick!!!................
