small red hose from firewall??

I was changing my sparkplugs on my 94 f150 302 and I broke a small red plastic hose. It starts at a can shaped thing on the firewall curbside and then runs behind the motor with a green line the come from the egr. Basically I would like to know what I just broke and what is my truck going to do when I start it up?

You will probably have a vacuum leak. You can splice it with a length of standard vacuum hose.

Most likely will have a rough idle and your blend door will not move so your heat and ac settings will be wrong. Glc is correct.

Read the vacuum map on the emissions sticker under the hood. Red is the vacuum line from the intake manifold to the reservoir (coffee can), so you'll have a vacuum leak (high idle, dirty air into the engine). That reservoir is for the 2ndry air system; the HVAC reservoir is glued to the evaporator cover, under the foil-faced fabric.

.

You can fix it just like this:
