Do 5.4's in vans have the plug problems?

Do the 04-08 Ford Econoline vans (with 5.4L's) have the same spark plug issues as the F series?
Thanks

Negative. The E-vans use the 2V, VIN "L" - the 3V's are VIN "5" or VIN "V" (FFV).

Thanks GLC,
My bro was looking at a used E250 van. I mentioned the plug issues....
You're right...the VIN for this van has the 'L' in it.
So that's a good thing...no plug probs.

I blew a plug out in my 97 van. The vans and the f-250-F350 trucks got the 3v engine later then the f-150..

When a 5.4 spits a plug in a van it would probably rattle around in the cab quite a bit and you could lose an eye.

Yep, f150 first by popularity. The bugs get weeded quicker. The others soon follow.
