The humor was between Jbrew and myself. He and I have joked about this serious situation a time or two when he got on someone's case. I think he understood the humor just fine. It was a little funny yet kind of nice, seeing him use the words that had been directed towards him. I meant nothing else towards you or anyone else, and I think Jbrew got a chuckle out of what I said.

If you saw it as something directed towards you, I apologize, but it's never acceptable when you jump another member for expressing their opinion. You may disagree, but you can do so with tact, and not an attack.

ok fair enough bj-i stated that vans were still using 2 valve v-8s, after i brought this up based on his own quote, it should have ended there- i have never purposely gave bad advice or bad info out on this forum,if you feel it was an attack, i have to respect that- it wasn't- i was merely calling someone out on mis information-period.....

I'm going to make one last statement, then lets move on. It was the manner in which you did it that was the problem. Also, if you read his post carefully, as I recall, and I am not reading back, it was not all that incorrect. The only incorrect part was that he thought that at some later point, they started using the 3v. All you had to do, was politely say that he was incorrect, that they had not started using the 3v, even yet. We would have all learned something and benefited. You called him a name and "called him out". Why is it necessary to "call someone out, when they can be politely educated? This attitude makes us less knowledgable idiots not want to participate.

Lastly, we should be having this conversation in PMs.
