I will try another fuel filter today. This is all with the lightning motor installed 2 months ago. I will also reset the comp today. When I turn the ignition on and off a few times to pump fuel before I start the truck it starts fine so I dont know what the issue is with that? Any idea's?
that tells me its a fuel issue. Try changing your fuel filter. It could be that or it could the fuel pump losing its prime.
If you have the tools available check your fuel pressure before you start it in the morning. Do NOT cycle the key this time. have someone start your truck like you usually in the morning and check the fuel pressure when you first start it and then once it starts initially, and see what it is at after it smooths back out.
