I like the flaresides. Especially for a lightning type truck. Not like its really going to be used like a work truck or anything. I'd take it.

like i said before, not liking something just because its a different brand name is immature. He posted this on f150online because its an F150. Whats sad is that if he built this, put a big ford sticker on the engine, and then posted pictures without telling you guys it was a chevy motor, half of you haters wouldnt know it was a chevy engine.

when my insulting Truck is done, Bring your lightning down , and i'll drag your perfect POS down the track.

I didn't want to spend ton of money, and make no power. Lightning swaps are way over priced and still need to be built to put down serious power. As you see my motor is Built. I'm gonna squeeze the piss out of this bish. I was gonna make videos of this truck at the track doing crazy times and make all you guys give me props for having a fast ford truck and later admit it was a chevy motor, but someone told me to post the process up. Alot of you need to grow and see ford isn't the God of everything. I like the Style of the F150 over the Silverado. But i can't stand how every year Chevy get more power and we just add power to make up for 1000's of pounds of weight. I would have loved to keep it Ford but at the cost of Building a 4v. I'll keep my Insulting POS anyday

That would be pretty unique. If your doesn't fit I have a 94 Firebird that it might fit. However mine was already ground out from a 5.7Lrt. to a 6.3Ltr. V-8.

I personally hate to see a chevy engine in any ford. I cringe when I go to the fabulous fords forever car show and see a chevy engine in a 32 roadster or a model t. I hate seeing a beautiful 56 Ford truck with a 350 in it, and what the hell is up with people stickin bow ties in mustangs! I cant stand it but its their car so they get to mess them up any way they want. I may not like to see an F150 with an LS motor but its interesting to see how he makes it work. I would have gone with a FI 460 or a windsor stroked out to a 427.

Good for you! For saving money and gettin str8t power im sure you will be successful with the ls6.
i wasn't trying to insult you...i just thought all opinions were welcome.
I dont have a prob with crossing brands if your into the trouble it takes and if i was gonna build the pisssssssss out of a motor for power purposes and i were on a budget i def wouldn't try to get power out of a modular motor either. Cause its not ez i kno! But I'd build the piss out of a mopar tho. Then stick it in the F150/F250. I like 4.2trimble's plans. Pretty sure sumone on here has a 97' longbed with a 5.9 cummins...thats mean!!!

people stick 350's in EVERYTHING because they're SO easy to work on and they're so common its hard NOT to find parts.

i hate the 350 motor. im tired of seeing it EVERYWHERE and i dont like chevrolet motors in fords and all that.

LS6's are not easier to make power on. Push-rod engines are just plainly less efficient than OHC engines. Definitely not knocking the LS platform, it's the best platform GM has ever engineered. Ford designed the crank into the block above the skirt in the MOD platform and doubled the strength of the block and as usual GM followed suit years later with the LS design only still taking the cheap rout and keeping the same old tired (not inefficient...just less efficient) push-rod dinosaur. That's why GM has continually had increase displacement just to keep up with the aftermarket bolt-on wars because no engine responds to bolt-ons as well as Modulars(Looking past the 2v generation of coarse).

My good friend Matt has just built an LS6 GTO(Heads, cam, intake, fuel system, full exhaust, Pro-Charger @24psi. and methanol inj.) and laid down 647hp.

Our other friend Brandon's '04 Cobra with the 2.3l Whipple @22psi.(Full exhaust, fuel system and I converted the rear to live axle for him) everything else bone stock put down 649. And that was only limited by the small Whipple. Our next decision will be either 3.4l or twin 62's.

Be careful when talkin smack haha. Those 6.0ltr SS trucks only run 15's. The standard 6.0s will barely run a 17. So spray it..I've seen a many a holes in them pistons.

Why would you think you need to build a 4v, they'll already handle more than a thousand hp...bone stock???
