I would...of anyone I trust enough to loan a vehicle to, I would believe that any mechanical failure wasn't their fault but just one of bad timing. It's an accepted risk when you make the choice to loan something out.

That is exatcly why no one ever drives my truck but me. Only if I was too busted up to drive would somoene else be allowed to drive, and then Id have to be in there with them. I would feel like **** giving a vehicle back that broke while I had it, I would have to pay to get it fixed, its that simple.

I wouldn't let yuh, or expect that. - If you were a dumb ass and smashed it into a brick wall or were 4 wheeling and rolled it, yea you would pay, - and then some

Chances are, if you were like that, you wouldn't have got to borrow it in the first place.

But yea, -this doesn't apply.

BTW - This thread is titled wrong. It should be something like - "True colors" - How a so called friend tries to manipulate and take advantage of another. The Ford didn't fail as much as the meaning of friendship has. Let alone , doing the RIGHT thing.

People are right here, these Fords just don't blow like that unless they were really abused to begin with. Even abused, if you keep oil in them, they keep running.

Sounds like a set up lol.

The only people I will loan my truck out to are family. That doesn't really count. If a friend needs a truck for something, *I* will drive it.
