so I got the trans yolk, crossmember, shroud for the HE, and fuel pump... is ANYTHING else I'll need for the motor swap???

also, would buying a new aluminum lightning driveshaft be more practical??.. or should I just take my driveshaft to a shop to get it cut?

I know a major hurtle you'll be looking at. 99+ pretty much across the board used digital odometer, 97/98 was analog. last i checked that alone had never been confirmed successfully swapped, again thats to my knowledge. more to do with the GEM module? i looked into taking my gem out to do a modification to the wiring behind it (tap it where i cant see it) and that looked like as much of a headache as a heater core so i disbanded that.

If that were possible, id be all over it. as far as I know, it would be way more trouble than its worth.

you'll need the complete wiring and everything from the '99+ truck, way more hassle than it's worth

i think you missed my message... 97/98 is different from 99+

I believe, I do not know for sure, that you would have to get the wiring harness for the cab as well as the GEM module.

can I even fit the overlay onto the 97 cluster? I don't need the psi gauge I can just put one of those onto my A pillar, but I really hate how boring the 97 cluster looks and the sct overlay is so much nicer
