Cool iat sensor

i've been havin' trouble with my 01 f-250 5.4. codes come up 102, 113, and 302. replaced the cop and maf senor. as for the 3rd one i cant seem to find the intake air temp sensor. my book shows it on the air filter housing on a v10. autozone even sells the part, but i can't find it on my truck. is it possible it could be a different sensor? love this site. only place for great info.

Does the IAT sensor just pull out? I have my intake apart right now doing the Gots mod...don't need to take it out but want to know how.

Also...along those same lines, I've seen some directions on MAF removal and I'm slightly confused how it comes off. Do you first pry the tabs on the airbox assembly to expose the MAF unit so you can then disconnect the wiring??

IAT -

The IAT pushes in and pulls out, it's just inserted into a rubber grommet, -yea just pull it out with your fingers.

MAF -

See the wires attached to # 2 ? There's a rubber grommet above that, - you slide the grommet down the wires until it hits # 2. This gives you the wire slack needed to pull the cone inside the air box out. You pull the cone by releasing the Air box to Cone plastic tabs with a screwdriver. Cone pulls right out so you'll be able to access the MAF.

Then you'll need a "Safety Torx" tool to remove the MAF from it's cylinder.

It's easier done then said lol.
