could use some HELP please !!!

01 4.6 was running rough so i decided to change the plugs as well as cleaning the entire throttle body (plugs were shot and throttle body EGR ports completely clogged) after reassembly (and confirming many times all connections) the the engine immediately rev. limits when i crank it and stays there. help please !

when i crank it the rpms immediately redlines and the limiter kicks in.....runs full throttle

yes it starts and runs full throttle until i turn the ignition off

That's better -

Might be the Throttle cable or bad MAF.

Did you disconnect the battery thru the entire process?

Did you remove the throttle plate?

Did you replace ALL gaskets ?

Did you follow all instructions/procedures from this site?

Wait a minute. Did you remove your throttle body spacer? If so, you have to reset the linkage.

he probably removed his worthless TB spacer but didn't remove the bracket that holds the TB cable out further
