Arrow 4.6 blew wanting 5.4 swap

i have a 1997 f150 4x4 w/ a 4.6 in it. the motor blew up a few days ago and the guy who towed it for me said he had a van w/ a 5.4 triton engine.
hes giving me the whole van for $350 delivered to my house so i cant pass up on a deal like that. im just wondering how much trouble its gonna be to swap in the 5.4 . i'll have everything from the van so if i had to use the vans pcm i have it , or will the 5.4 hook up to the 4.6 harness???

im not sure what year the van is but i imagine its between 98 and 2003.
i had a mechanic tell me i might not be able to reuse the 4.6 intake but could possibly run the van intake w/o any problems

any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated

You cannot use a 4.6 intake on a 5.4, period. The blocks are different deck heights.
