i have an '03 supercrew with the 4.6 and a K&N FIPK air intake. my buddy has the same intake on his truck and his is much louder than mine. i'm wanting a louder "whistle." any ideas?

I tried a spacer on a 98 years ago - Both ways. One way you couldn't here any thing and it didn't help as far as power, - Not that I noticed.

I flipped it around to get the sound effect and it sounded like something was wrong with the truck

Took it off, never used it again - I'll sell it cheap if you want it. - If it will fit you truck. If your buddy has a 5four , your 4six isn't going to sound like his. What kind of truck does he have?

The 4six has a smaller TB don't they ? I know the Crown Vics do. Not sure about the truck 4six.

His 5.4 is sucking more air then your 4.6.

they also make those whistles that you put in your exhaust... i bet they would work in the intake too, just a thought
