Exclamation Slip slidden away

Hey All, I was driving down the highway about a week ago and hit some black ice and proceeded to spin around three times and end up facing an embakement with the engine stalled. Since then the vehicle has sparaticly started to stutter or shake and I lose power until I floor it and it up shifts. Any ideas would be GREAT ! ! Oh I guess I should mention that it is a 2000 F150 with a 5.4 triton.

Regarding the check engine light, yes it blinks and than shuts off and I am going to be naive here but what is the cel? and is the cop the condenser pack?? The other thing that I find odd is that it seems to happen more when it is under a load I.E. accelerating to go up a hill and if I take it out of over drive it does not seem to "miss". The problem is getting worse rather than better but the issue here is that I am in college and am trying to diagnose this on my own to save money.

CEL = check engine light.
COP = Coil on plug. Your 5.4 has a COP on every plug.There's 8 of them.

Go get your codes read. If you got a CEL, there are stored DTC (diagnostic trouble codes). Autozone reads them free. Get the actual "P" codes, not what the morons at the Zone interpret them as.
