Its together!!! I didnt get home till 1am but it is together, and man does it look bad ass. I will get some pics up tonight. The goal is to have the motor, trans, and drive shaft in by the end of the weekend. It should not be hard to do, just a lot of Red Bull after nights like last night lol.

With everything their is complications. I had an oil pickup tube i was going to use but after closer inspection when I was cleaning it up i noticed small metal flakes inside it. So rather than chance it and try to get it all out i decided to order one and it wont be here till Monday. Go figure. This weekend we were going to put the timimg cover on, pickup tube and put the pan on and drop it in, then the trans and then the driveshaft. So it looks like i will be spending the weekend with the girlfirend since i have been so busy lately. Anyway on with the pics!

Lee Blankenship (my tuner) putting the cams in. He put the heads on, cams in, and put everything in time.

On the stand. I personally think it looks bad ass

The motor is in the truck!!! I got off work late and went to Lee's shop and picked up the rest of the parts i needed. Went back to the shop and put the pick up tube on, pan on, and the timing cover on, then dropped it in. I am so glad it is in the truck. Tomorrow i am hoping to get the trans in at the very least. I need a set of valve covers, i dont think the cling wrap is going to work. Anyone has a stock set of valve covers pm me. One side has 13 screw holes and the other has 14 i dont know how to tell winsor and romeo. On to the good stuff!

I didnt get the trans in tonight but i got a **** load of little stuff done. None of the other guys were at the shop tonight and i didnt want to try to put it in even though my girlfriend offered to help lol. I got the radiator in, lower radiator hose, oil filter housing, water pump, power steering pump and a ton of other misc. stuff done. The guys are throwing a set of injectors in a duramax tomorrow so their should be plenty of extra hands. Everything is coming together really fast now.

She has came to realize that after 3 years this is my hobby and i an NOT going to change. She used to be the same way, it would piss me off so bad to hear her bitch. It was really helpful when i needed tools instead of trying to remember where i layed it down 2 seconds before.
