I pulled the old tank out tonight, damn that thing doesnt look big until you drop it out. I pulled the 255 pump out, i told the guy i sold the supercharger to if he wanted it he could have it since i have no use for it anymore. It had fuel in it and forgot my scales so i will try and get a weight on it tomorrow. Slowly but surely I am making progress. Anyone need a stock fuel tank?

That is my issue, i killed the factory trans by doing a pull with od off and when it got to 5400 i pushed od and it ate itself. Dirty Dog said to never let it shift into od at wot, something about a band or something breaking? I am not risking it, hell i know what happended when i did it to my stock trans. We shall see, i am sure i will venture to a 1/4 when it is done. Do you have a stock trans in yours?

A little update

After dragging my feet again, i am making progress. I dropped the heads off at the machine shop last saturday and was told today they would be done by next Tuesday at the latest. I ordered JLP stage 3 crower cams and a set of head gaskets from JL on monday and got them today. I am going to order the timing chains and gaskets tomorrow so when i get everything back i can get it together. This warm weather has got me motivated

Yes, after talking to JJ and JL i decided to just put some good stuff in my heads and see what happens with the new trick flow heads. i didnt wanna put a bunch of money into a set of heads to only have something better come out in a few months. If the Trick Flow heads are all they claim and a few people are the test pigs i will bolt a set on next winter. I can still reuse my cams with whatever i choose. JL said i should really like the cams 20hp over his stage 2 cams and a lot crazier idle.
