2000 F-150 5.4L Oil Light

was wondering if anyone has had this same problem. just had the oil changed using 5w-30. its a bit cold here now, but i have noticed that the idiot oil light comes on, along with the pressure gauge reading zip for a few minutes before it warms up, then all seems well.

Need a new sensor. It is mounted right next to the oil filter. Very common fault when cold out.

you probably oughta be running the 5w-20 oil ford recommends but that shouldnt cause the problem.

I wont let jiffy lube touch my truck. Crummy oil filters they use.

Was there any hesitation while this was happening or was it just the gauges acting up?
