Thanks Neal. I'll get another - I hope new ones come with a freakin bolt
I don't want to go with efans on this truck right now, but I did notice a difference when i fired it up without the belt -Quite a bit snappier when cracking the throttle. Think a new AC clutch would help ? - Just want everything to spin at it's best without an efan install.
I hope I cane get that belt on w/that second pulley.. It's going to be close.
Nice Engine - Great pics!

Found some at Summit that look better, I think I'll order, not much choice on the 98, but they carry AC Clutches as well - I want to replace everything up front - To many miles - I'll be needing the truck again after the first of the year to pull 3500-4000 lbs across a few states - preventive maintenance ..
Maybe I start my own thread ? - Sorry *****, don't mean to steel yours..
Summits stuff -

Your confusing me - Tensioner pulley is called that. Idler pulley is separate unless your talking about another vehicle , not a truck/ford..? Unless you are talking about the same thing and was just pulleys ? That would just cause more drag and kill some of your power - Wouldn't advise. - Pulleys are sized in accordance too ..
BTW- Why do you say the pulley goes on backwards to be right ? There's only one way that's right - Backwards isn't right ? I'm confused again.

while i had the tensioner assembly off, what was the front of the assembly, seemed like you would put the pulley facing foward on it, instead it goes on "backwards". i guess you would have to pull it off to understand. either way, be sure to look at how it comes off. lol my dad took it off and i put it on while he wasnt there...plus he didnt notice how it came off anyways, he assumed it went how i put it on.
