Engine Dies when in Idle

1997 Ford F150 automatic small V8. After warm up engine dies when in idle but drives fine until I stop. I have checked the vaccuum lines and cleaned mass air flow. The idle control is OK and I replaced all belt turned items. I had it checked at Advance auto on their machine and it said lean mixture. They have no idea what the problem could be. I replaced the EGR valve, pcv valve, and the coil pack. At one time their machine said catalytic convertor problem but that was several weeks ago and I used top engine cleaner and it cleared up.

Can anyone help?

I have the same problem with my 92 with V8.

I will be working on it today. If what I suspect is the problem, I will let you know.

By the way, when is the last time you changed your fuel filter?
