man, my block still isnt done yet. its been at the shop with the hot tank for about 5 days....it better be reflective when i get it back..

I just saw this thread and read the first couple post and then started scrolling to hopefully see the new power. Then I read your last post, I agree with you, "c'mon guys, get the damn thing done!!"

thanks for the comment.. i can't wait to feel the power when im done with it..im also bumping the nitrous up to prolly 200 shot.it should be pretty quick

nah man..we decided just to leave it since it was plastic.. plus the gains arent worth it, in my eyes anyway..we just cleaned it up in a mineral spirits tank

hey guys i put my cam gears on my cams but there is a huge space between the cam bolt and the gear...so the gear is able to slide back and forth ..so what am i supposed to do with that the gears slide back and forth on the keyway

oh man im sorry i forgot to mention, i think those are ford item as well. um if you can machine them go for it. but otherwise i believe u have to sit with a parts guy (yay another idiot right?) and look for spacers/washers that go with those year cam gears. sorry dude i forgot.

**** happens..i cant believe i didnt notice that was a problem right away with the gears sliding back and forth..looks like im goin to ford again monday morning

you need the EV1 to plug 'em right in

I just snagged a set of 39# EV6's with the wiring adapters for $150, they should get me by intil I need the 60#ers for my new engine.

look at the green top 42#ers or the all blue 39#ers since the harnesses are available all over the place. Just figure in the price of the wiring adapters if you purchase the EV6's
