rpmoutlet.com has under the mustant gt column 99-04, adjustable comp cam gears for like $230..that is all i need right..those would have the key that slides into the slot on my new cams correct?... or do factory gt gears have the key to slide onto the slot of my cams???

factory GT gears have the keyway. they have to be "modified" to allow appropriate degreeing of comp cams in most cases i read/hear about unless u call them directly lol

I bought a set of stock cam gears, just had to grind on the keyway to get them adjusted to within .5*, Do NOT buy from rpmoutlet, you will get screwed.

Try Randy Stinchcomb - Liberty Ford - 410-504-2897. Good prices on oem parts, and he is very knowledgable.

after some argueing with the 105 year old parts guy about my cam gears he finally found them for me..he told me the only way to get the gears is to get the cams..then he found the bolt on ones...i was pretty satisfied with the price considering they rob ya everytime you have to get something from them
