19's are 19's IMO - I'm running 19's from a 01 crown vic/ Type 3's (Bosch) in my 98 , without a problem( those are the best upgrades for 19's/ Ford racing has upgrades , but you'll pay for those and don't really need them).
The only problems that you run into when swapping injectors is that the connectors can be different.
I ran into that not knowing. I had to get the right connectors in my case. Had I know , I would have made sure the injector connect was the same as my stock set-up, both connector styles are easy to find new on eBay. I purchased new injectors for $60 (all 8) on eBay.. Infact, my coils came from the same guy. After install , the truck ran like it just lost 2000 lbs / quick and responsive.
I've also run 19's from a 98 Windstar in my 5.4L - no problems.
BTW - The part numbers are born dates, plant made etc... That doesn't matter with injectors. I would stock with 19's , you can run 22's but don't really need to on stock applications.
