I see she's alive, cool!! So what's up ? What was leaking Klitch ? Yea , those codes aren't nothing to worry about, they will most likley go away once you finish the exhaust and get about 500 miles on it.

Oh wait - Your not running cats ? Why ? I would at least throw some high flows on there. You'll have to get elims if go catless.

You get her to idle yet ? Yea, you have some sortin to do now - then some tweakin; fun stuff!

lol JMC i will once i learn more. this is all new for me still.

brew that plastic T i put in the cross over to the heater core.. yeah, i told that napa guy it wouldnt do, i shoulda been more persistant. im not runnin cats, i thought i had told troyer i wasnt. either way i dumped 5 gal of premium and slowly drove her to the closest gas station 1.5 miles and filled up hoping a full tank of premium would help her run. nope, i think i need a fuel pump controller but im not sure. my wideband was hovering around the 12 range when i drove her nicely over to the gas station, but it wasnt steady it jumped from like 11 to 14 range. developed a miss too so now i gotta go back and redo my plug wires (thanks napa, i love that T)

guessin i need to log how she's running so troyer can see whats goin on.

but i did notice i never heard the sc whine even at 1800. hmm

You'll have to look back @ built54's (Joeys) first start; I could have sworn I heard the super charger right off the bat.

I dunno, I haven't had the pleasure of having that goody ... - Yet!

joey what was your conclusion to your problem with getting yours to run at first? fuel pump giving her too much? my pressure was reading 40 or so when trying to idle. i need to clean my valleys up since i think im missing really bad causing me not to run at all now.

clean your valleys? My idle problem was just my tune. I see about 38psi at idle, but 40 is fine

oh also, i noticed i had oil pressure over 90psi sometimes up to 100 making my guage flash. how much is generally too much?

ahh jesus im gonna beat the guy who built the motor. he didnt gap the plugs from what i see. pulled # 4 out to see if its even running, sure as **** that gap looked a lil small. 25-26, shouldnt i be up around 38 or 40? im not running as much boost as joey and he's only at 32 or so

well i guess im at a mexican stand off til monday. either the tunes rich, fuel pumps giving her too much fuel. or i aint gettin enough air since plugs came out black and pretty wet.

anyone think my exhaust not being finished could cause any noticeable problems?

At 38 - 40 you will have spark blow out. 28 - 30 works well, I'm at 30 with 10 psi.

you should be at about 36. im at 32 with almost 18psi, no issues. your exhaust shouldnt have anything to do with it. Its all in the tune. I went through the same problem
