Another Ticket and fine from the EPA . When removing the cats, it is best to have a custom tune done, that will give you the most potential. Oh, and why are you wanting to eliminate the EVAP system??????

It is to "absorb" all the HC's prevented by a return system, fill ups, sloshing, etc. It purges the absorbed hc's into the intake. It helps with mileage a tiny bit, but is mainly there to keep the EPA and CARB happy.
