Gentlemen & Ladies,
Returning from a 700 mile trip to Az. 2 miles from home. At 40 mph, I hear a series of noises from engine and finaly a single pop, pop, pop in time with rpms. I pulled over and looked around under the hood, passenger side where the noise seemed to originate. no visible damage at the fuel rail. With the engine running.... sounds like an exhaust manifold leak coming from the top of the engine...engine runs rough but it got me home.
DTCs from the 1715 tuner are 01- P0316, 02- P0303, 03- P1151, 04- P1131
It almost sounds like a plug came loose and I'll look for that tommorrow.
100% serviced at Ford dealership.

What are your thoughts..

yep time to replace the head or buy the big sert kit. too bad bud, it sucks I've had it happen

What the Frig!! The truck has 36891 miles on it.
AND just 3 days ago I noticed a tapping noise. at start up !!!
Frick FORD will hear about his. Even if I have to tow it over and have them look at it to show the yo yos !!
