yah my number est were from stock 8-9psi boost. but yeh with 16-17psi u should be closer to 550. what heat exchanger are u gonna run. ur cheapest best is run two stockers and get some Y fittings and 2 pumps for the after cooler heat exchangers. ill check other boards if ur needing one lightning guys are always upgrading or going back to stock to sell their trucks it seems

Hey Built, how "built" is your tranny? I see in your sig you have the shift kit, you got anything else done to it?

no worries on the extra wire on the alt not needed
but make sure you put the upper alt braces on from alt to
intake even if you fab your own seen a couple bad things happen
when the alts shake loose w/o the braces
nice looking power plant

The last time i asked him he still had the stock tranny with the shift kit.He said he was gonna wait until it blew apart

Yea , he has the Transgo kit - same as I have . Great kit for the E4OD. Good luck on blowing that apart

One tough tranny..

The Lightning 4r100 is a tougher unit..I have seen those on Car-Part.com.

i'm also putting a billet tripple disk 2000 stall in it. I am going to run 16-17psi. Im getting a 2-3 gallon fuel cell to mount in the bed and a big cooler.

i do believe there is an upgraded coolant that lightning use that runs cooler. ive got a 180 temp switch if ur want it to kick the fans on for the after cooler id recommend getting some small fans to mount on them keeps u from getting bad heat soak while in staging lanes or on the street
