Here are 2 screen shots. this is in neutral, after at idle for several minutes, at 2200rpm. as you can see, the surging was bad at first, and the longer i held it at 2200, the smoother it got.
I Forced open loop and no more surging. Idle sounds wicked now, can actually hear the cams. Im going to tune the a/f and make it run open loop all the time
did what stick? Im just leaving it open loop. I just spent several hours tuning with my wideband, a/f is almost dead on everywhere from idle to redline, part throttle and WOT. Runs sooo much stronger than before. Idle is great, sounds stronger, all in all, open loop FTW!
I drove around for a few days in OL and mine ran good. Do you have the adaptive switch turned off? The switch should be the 1st scalar under adaptive, set to 0=off, 1=on. I drove with it off in open loop and the cold start was OK, which surprised me.

Joey you have an extra crank / harmonic balancer? i dont fee inclined to repair the threads that seem to be letting go. keeps backing off and letting my aftermarket pulley hub knock... nothing on ebay :/
