They do look pretty fat. Just wondered because mine have lost the coating at 75k mi. of salty winter roads and are corroding like a SOB. He must have caught his early or something.

they varied in thickness as well... if you're wondering, it's a direct swap to the larger ones, the crossmember just gets moved back...

lol.... because they have to be removed! 3rd time taking them off, so i had both off in 30 minutes.

Holy $#!^, I hope they don't have to come off to drop an M50D...the slave cylinders seem to let loose every 40k or so, and I'm due for another.

That sucks I was going to order up a set of Headers soon but if they have do be dropperd to do the tranny I may as well untill then to put the headers on

they do. cause you have to take the starter off, and that wont happen with the headers on. It makes it a LOT easier.

HI!... I have the KOOKS S/S longtubes on my truck and I can remove the starter and the tranny without removing the headers.

Neal, what transmission do you have? The 4R70W or the E4OD/4R100?
