Service Engine Soon light

99 F150 4x4

Spent several hours today replacing sparkplugs and cleaning the K/N air filter. In the process, I had to move several wires/hoses around.

In the middle of the job, it started raining, so I turned the ignition on and rolled up the windows. With wires and hoses loose, the computer may have sensed a fault and thus the "service engine light" illumination.

ANy ideas on how to reset this fault light?

thanks
jt

unhook your battery for 15 min to reset your pcm, also you may have gotten oil from your filter on your MAF, clean that also, it can't hurt you. good luck

Turn your key backwards to roll up/down the windows goober, it doesn't affect your ignition.
