NOS yes or no

i have a 98 f150 with superchips, dual flows, and intake and i run a 10 flat in the 1/8th... its a 5.4 by the way... i am running 255/70 r16 tires, i am considering puttin 4:10 gears in it and a 75-100 shot of nitrous, what would my estimated time be with these mods...

75 - 100 hp shot you might have to start thinking of upgrading your fuel system somewhat. ( Injectors, pump, adjustable regulator ) Also the long term effects on the transmission might be an issue.

I'm basing this on when I had a 50-75 hp shot of nitrous in my Mustang. Anything above that I was looking at having to upgrade to play it safe.

Would be fun though. I know for a fact I have room for a bottle or 2 in my Expedition!

Im leaning on the 50 shot more to be on the safe side. I dont think the seals or the pistons can handle the abuse.

Hey can you use a TB spacer to port in some NOS? How is it usually incorperated?

Sounds like a good idea. It would be basically the same as mounting in the intake tube, unless it should go through the MAF. That would a little more hidden, more of a sleeper look to it.
