Unhappy Gas Mileage

I have a '97 F-150 4X4 with a 4.6L and i really would like to get better gas mileage i am getting about 10mpg right now and i am looking for e-fan set up but there all like $500 and i dont want to spend that much money if you have and suggestions of how i can get better gas mileage or where i can get a good cheap e-fan set up let me know.

You can not rev up ur engine and speed up at high rpm's, you acn use nitrogen in ur tires, cold air intake etc.

Best way to get better gas mileage is remove some lead from your right boot - and that's FREE!

The payback time on any mods you make will probably be longer than the truck lasts.

I have a 98 4.6 and was getting on average(city and hwy) 14-15 mpg. Had a miss problem that was caused by weak ignition coils and 2 bad fuel injectors. 3 weeks later, I just filled up and got 18.48 mpg !!!!!!
