I serched but I couldn't find anything. I am trouble shooting my ignition system. My truck shut off like I flipped a switch and cranks but won't start or sputter. Anyway I ran out of light before I could find my ignition control module. My Haynes manual doesn't say where it is. 92 F150 300 EFI

 

It's attached to the side of the distributor.

 

No, it's not. On '92-96, it's mounted to the L inner fender below the hood hinge as shown in this TSB.

 

That's what I get for assuming every TFI module is on the dist.
Just like I said in another post "after 26 years as a tech I keep learning new stuff"

 

The class-action lawsuit over the dist.-mounted TFI went on for ~8 years. The fact that Ford moved it in '92 was one of the main proofs that they knew it was a flaw.
