I just got my truck back yesterday after a 4.6 rebuild, I put ab0ut 100 mi on it yesterday on the back roads taking it easy,, today i i went threw a yellow light and gave it a lil gas enough to kick in the passing gear and it kinda sputtered, I want to know if this is normal or should i be worried rite now i am really pissed becasue it cost me 3300 to get it rebuilt and i wanted it done rite.

did the rebuilder clean the manifold, egr, and thottle body, doesn't sound right to me. what year

 

I am sure you have a waranty with the rebuild... I hope.... drive it for a week or so then bring it back with any problems. A good mechanic will take care of you

 

yeah i have a warentee on it i thinks its a timing problem it kinda backfires threw the intake kinda sounds like a pinging only does it when i hammer it kicking it in passing gear
