I have a 2000 F150 5.4 completely stock other than a Borla muffler. Do I need a tune? Can I use 87 octane still? How much performance/fuel mileage gain should I expect.

It depends on what size intake tube you get, if you get just the 3.00" tube then no you will not need a tune but you should probably post something over in the tuner section or the intake section and I'm sure you'll get some better answers.
