Oil in my air filter box?

A while back, I noticed that my air filter seemed to be getting a bit oily. I changed the air filter and the PCV valve out for new ones. A few days ago, I noticed the same thing again, a foamy brownish sludge in my air filter box. I'm worried that water is getting in my oil, but I didn't notice anything unusual when I changed my oil a couple weeks ago. The oil on the dipstick looks fine as well. The truck seems to be running fine, in fact it's running pretty smooth right now.

Any ideas of what I'm looking at here?

Check your oil level. Running to much oil or too high a pressure??

Check your breather hoses

And then....

Thanks for the reply AAlmeter. Is there anything I can do about blow by short of overhauling the engine?

I forgot to mention before, it's a 1989 F150 with the 5.0L engine.

Before you assume the engine is worn out, change your PCV valve (making sure its hose is open into the plenum) and if it's still putting oil in the filter box, test compression.
