#6 Cylinder Misfire

98 F150, 4.2L, 176K
I keep experiencing a misfire in the # 6 cylinder. I moved the plug wire, reset the computer and came up with the same code. I moved the spark plug, reset the computer and came up with the same code. I changed the coil pack, reset the computer and came up with the same code.
Any ideas? Injector?
Thanks

Look at your EGR, it could be sticking and need cleaning. Take it off and clean with carb cleaner inside.

Hey torkum , are you talking the valve (The saucer dealy) ???

I never tried to clean that lol - It has a total of 238,000 miles on it lol-

Just curiose - My EVR's playing a tune ever time I shut her down - I still haven't fixed that , I'll miss that when it's gone.. I kinduh like the strange looks I get when going out to dinner and parking the truck and it starts to hum a few bars after I shut her down - it only sounds off for about 15 seconds lol. The humming sounds human enough that might make you think someones trapped under the hood

I guess that's why I'll miss it so much..

Yea, I've cleaned a few. Doesn't last long, but it tells you if thats the problem. The carbon builds up and they stick open [jbrew knows that]. As far as the tune yours[jbrew] is singing, just tell everybody you got that new twin turbo POWERSTROKE and its in cool down mode. I think you could sell em on that
