The only "bad" motor oils are the Quickie Mart brand oils, any brand name will work just fine in your truck.

A very close relative of MC, don't think you can go wrong with it. Just wish stores would carry the 5w20 Been running the 5w30 in the wife's van with no problems and have 2 cases of Union 76 5w30 waiting to go in next (59 cents a quart) For a synth blend, and the price I don't feel there is anything better than a Conoco oil.

Thats nice, but you'll get better wear numbers from MC especially staying within warranty required OCI. And have fun with your newly revised Grp 3 oil.
I think the topic was Trop Artic

Narvous, both oils are blends. The Trop Artic will have in its basestock a lot more Gp III dino synthetic than the MC oil. MC is somewhere around 15% per MC and TA is in the 60% per CP. There is more to an oil than just the basestock. Ask any Mobil One user. They have been paying premium prices for oil that per basestock, isn't any better or as good. The TA is a bargain, is a sleeper oil, and turns in pretty decent low wear metals. I will use it when I can find it.
